STORY DIAGRAM
In almost all cases, the precedents will do something over time. This could be due to their own behaviors or because of how other things interact with it. Think about how you would, in words, describe this process. In each of these rectangles draw one time step of the behavior.

Give your precedent a shot with the strategies discussed such as: Arrows, colors, labels.
TECHNICAL DIAGRAM
Notice how these examples deconstruct the object to show the individual elements. These elements are then connected with a dashed line. Take creative license to show what YOU as the author of the diagram see as a possibility of how it works.

In this assignment, we will learn about different types of diagrams, and how we can use each one to further communicate the ideas of your project.
Review the presentation above to learn about the types of diagrams used by designers to communicate their ideas. Then every member of the project team needs to create a Use diagram and technical diagram. As you create your diagrams, consider how each one will highlight a different aspect of your idea.
Instructions
Draw an Informational, Story, Mechanical, or Use Diagram
- Talk with your partner or team and decide what 2 diagrams are most beneficial for your project. Is it Informational? Story? Mechanical? Use?
- Look back at examples of the types of diagrams you chose in the slides above.
- After you have chose which diagram to do, follow the examples in the slides to create your own.
